Photography has always
seemed to be an integral part of Mark Palmer's life. As a boy,
he developed his passion for photography in Okinawa, where his
first clients were other government and military children also
living on base. Since then, Mark has been formally trained in
commercial photography and continues to update his education
with various seminars. His work has been in juried shows and
published in Cherished Moments in Time, a photographic
anthology.
Mark has been creating portraits and photgraphing weddings
professionally for over a decade. Characteristic of his portrait
work is the use of light to produce tonal values, creating
a painterly effect. With minimal props, Mark tries to achieve
an honest portrait by emphasizing the client's individual expressions
and moods.
By combining a photojournalistic approach and an
artistic feel, Mark is able to capture the emotions of the
day, making each wedding a unique and personal story.
